Letter From The Board

Dear Esteemed Delegates of AMSIMUN,

      We hope this letter finds you very well and we hope that you are just as excited as we are for the annual return of AMSI Model United Nations (AMSIMUN)! To say that we are proud to announce the seventh edition of AMSIMUN would simply be an understatement. This year, we have received well over 500 applications, and after careful consideration, it is with utmost pleasure and honour that we welcome you to participate in the conference.

      Our goal, among many others, this year is to continue providing a platform for beginner delegates to discover the inner workings of the United Nations and for seasoned delegates to further strengthen their fluency in diplomacy and international politics.

      From the researching skills that you gain from drafting your position paper, to the public speaking, diplomacy, and debating skills you learn by discussing possible solutions with your fellow delegates, MUN conferences, without a doubt, offer the ability for delegates such as yourself to cultivate a varied skill palette that can and will assist you in the future, outside the confines of MUN in the real world and, possibly, the United Nations.

     Moreover, we encourage you to take AMSIMUN as more than an opportunity to academically richen your life by forming new connections and friendships! The AMSIMUN Executive Board is dedicated to ensuring an unforgettable and fulfilling experience for each of you, and we sincerely congratulate you on either beginning or continuing your MUN journey.
