Mia Fakhreddine
Mia is a senior at Al Mawakeb Garhoud. Her fondest childhood memories are her sitting on the floor with her family watching them debate for hours on end; joining MUN was the only right thing to do as a child that has always been loud and outspoken who constantly heard "you should become a lawyer!". Since the 6th grade, she has been blessed with the countless opportunities MUN has given her, and she couldn't be more grateful for how it's turned out. MUN holds a special place in her heart, it is an outlet for her emotions, big or small, good or bad. Mia's deep passion for the club has led her to where she stands today, on the executive board of AMSIMUN. There is not a single experience she regrets in MUN, whether she got last place or first place, the greatest blessing was participating in this exemplary conference.
Fares Al Farra
Fares is a senior at Al Mawakeb Garhoud, where MUN has shaped both his high school experience and his most cherished memories. While most of his absences come from attending conferences, every event has been a step in his journey of growth and diplomacy. His MUN story began in the 6th grade when his sister forced him to join—what started as a chore quickly became one of the best decisions of his life. By the 9th and 10th grades, he was already competing in university-level MUNs, earning multiple Best Delegate Awards and gaining widespread recognition for his exceptional debating and diplomatic skills. Beyond competing, he has chaired several conferences and, most importantly, taken on the role of Head of MUN at his school, showcasing his leadership and deep understanding of international affairs. Now, with years of experience and a proven track record, Fares is ready to take the next step: joining the AMSI MUN Executive Board. His goal is to make this conference a truly memorable and transformative experience for all.
Sadeen Baydoun
With seven consecutive years of experience in Model United Nations, Sadeen Baydoun’s passion for diplomacy, debate, and global affairs has only grown stronger. From being a first-time delegate to now serving as an Executive Board Member, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of MUN in shaping confident, articulate, and open-minded individuals. Organizing MUN conferences has become more than just a responsibility—it is a true passion. Sadeen thrives on creating an environment where delegates can engage in thought-provoking discussions, challenge their perspectives, and forge lasting friendships. She believes that every conference is an opportunity to inspire, empower, and leave a lasting impact.
With a deep commitment to excellence, she is determined to make this AMSI MUN conference the most memorable yet, ensuring an enriching and dynamic experience for all participants.
Ribal Kouatly
Ribal, a senior in Al Mawakeb Garhoud, began his journey in the 9th grade. Despite starting off only 4 years ago, he has never been more passionate about anything more than he has been about MUN. He has worked endlessly for the past 4 years and has cherished every moment of it; debating, chairing, and training the newcoming delegates, Ribal could not be more excited to welcome this new batch to AMSIMUN’s 8th year!
Raneem Nasrallah
Raneem Nasrallah is a Senior at Al Mawakeb Al Garhoud who began her Model United Nations (MUN) journey back in the 6th grade as a junior mun delegate. The more Raneem attended MUN conferences, staying awake all night writing her position papers, the more she fell in love with the art of debate and offering solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues to date. She believes that MUN is not just a United Nations conference simulation, but a new perspective of life both politically and academically, whether it is through comprehending the political state of the world, or improving researching skills.
Having taken on roles as a delegate, chair, and organizer, Raneem Nasrallah has seen firsthand how MUN challenges individuals to think critically and collaborate on global issues. She is more than elated to see how the 8th edition of AMSIMUN plays out this year and wishes every delegate the best of luck in preparing for the conference!
Abdulrahman Alkasab
Abdulrahman, a Senior at Al Mawakeb Al Barsha has always had a passion for debating. MUN took his love for debating to a whole new level and when he first started in the 10th grade he has dominated in committee sessions. Engaging in heated debates and representing multiple nations have greatly boosted his confidence, sharpened his debate skills, and changed the way he debates. He is excited to meet new delegates and to see the great potential they have.
Aslan Halawa
Aslan Halawa is a dedicated senior at Al Mawakeb School - Al Barsha, where he began his MUN journey in grade 10. Since then, he has attended over 15 conferences, earning multiple awards for his exceptional skills in diplomacy, public speaking, and leadership. His passion for MUN and commitment to fostering meaningful discussions led him to join the AMSIMUN Executive Board to help prepare a conference where all delegates have an opportunity to shine and improve!
Dana Ismail
Dana is currently a senior at Al Mawakeb Al Barsha. Ever since her first conference in the 8th grade, she has gained a burning passion for debate and public speaking. MUN has shaped Dana to the person she is today; confident, curious, and independent. Although MUN is essential in gaining research and debate skills, Dana values the lifelong friendships and memories the most. Whether it is your first or tenth conference, Dana hopes to make AMSIMUN a memorable experience!
Jana Dardir
Jana, a senior at Al Mawakeb School Al Barsha, has a vivid passion for computer science. She began her MUN journey in her middle school years, she has shown great dedication to MUN, participating in many conferences, and building herself up to the person she is today. Her MUN experience enhanced her communication, leadership, critical thinking, and most importantly, public speaking skills. MUN holds a special place in Jana’s heart because it helped her conquer her intense fear of public speaking and served as a foundation through which she met new people. Jana is extremely excited to make AMSIMUN a once-in-a-lifetime experience for others and provide an enjoyable and skill-enhancing experience for all new delegates.
Nareen Habibi
Nareen Habibi is a 16 year old senior at Al Mawakeb School Al Khawaneej. She first reluctantly began her Model United Nations (MUN) journey in the eighth grade when her older sister encouraged her to join ISAS's MUN club. Nareen was initially overwhelmed with all the rules of procedure and wanted to drop out of MUN. However, she stayed and hoped that this hobby may be the one for her. And it was! The more Nareen attended MUN conferences, staying up writing her position papers and background guides, the more she fell in love with the art of debate and offering solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues to date. Now, with AMSIMUN being her 18th conference, Nareen Habibi is more than elated to be part of the AMSIMUN'25 Senior Executive Board! She wishes you a wonderful experience with MUN, whether it be your first conference, or your 20th. We hope you enjoy the 8th version of AMSIMUN just as much as we enjoyed preparing for it.
Mohammad Amiri
Mohammad, a senior at Al Mawakeb Khawaneej, embarked on a life-changing journey with Model United Nations (MUN) in the 10th grade. His involvement in the MUN Club was more than an activity; it was a transformative experience that honed his public speaking, research, and critical thinking skills. MUN opened a path to self-discovery for Mohammad, offering him a new perspective on the world and enriching his life with deep friendships and unforgettable experiences. Passionate about sharing the value of MUN, he is thrilled to contribute to AMSIMUN 2025’s executive board, hoping to inspire others with the same sense of global awareness and personal growth that MUN has instilled in him.
Jumana Badri
Jumana Badri is a junior at Al Mawakeb School Al Khawaneej. She started her MUN journey in the 6th grade. She would not believe it if you told her 6th grade self she would be executive board, nor that she continued to prosper in MUN winning a number of awards and attending 18 conferences. She is nothing but honored to be a part of the executive board of AMSIMUN on its 7th edition, and she looks forward to the conference and meeting all of the delegates, both new and old.
Alghala Almazrouei
Alghala Almazrouei, a senior at AlMawakeb AlKhawaneej, started her MUN journey in grade 10, and she is grateful to say it was the best decision she made that year. Through MUN, she improved her public speaking, learned more about global issues, and met incredible people. She strongly believes that the experience of MUN—the debates, teamwork, and new friendships—is more valuable than any award. She looks forward to meeting all delegates and making AMSIMUN 2025 an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Nagham Hamade
Nagham began her Model United Nations journey in the 9th grade, unsure where to start but eager to learn. Through hard work, she earned over ten awards at international and university level conferences. In her junior year of high school, she took on the role of chairing committees, further deepening her involvement in MUN. Now, in her senior year, she is part of this year's AMSI MUN executive board. As she nears the end of her MUN journey, she is grateful to conclude it in this role, contributing to a community that has shaped her growth in debate, diplomacy, and leadership.
Yasmin Al Dababsekh
Yasmin Al Dababsekh is a senior executive board at Al Mawakeb Al Khawaneej who began her Model United Nations (MUN) path in grade 8 after coming to live in Dubai from Ukraine. MUN encouraged her to improve her debate skills and work harder in order to prove that shyness and language barrier can and should be defeated by passion. Living through the, "MUN experience” helped Yasmin in different aspects of her daily life which made her fall in love with Model United Nations over and over again. She believes that had she not joined the MUN club, she wouldn’t be the person she is today, not just because she explored the art of debate from different aspects and opinions, but also because she got the chance to socialize with new people. Yasmin hopes that this AMSIMUN conference will play a significant role in every participant’s life and wishes every delegate luck in preparing for the conference.

Daniel Shihat is a grade 11 student at Al Mawakeb Garhoud, whose journey into the world of Model United Nations began in grade 8, and ignited a passion that continues to burn brightly. It wasn't just an activity; it was a discovery. Within the complex debates and collaborative spirit of MUN, Daniel found not just a place to learn, but a place to thrive. Since then, he has carved a successful MUN career, marked by dedication and a genuine love for the art of diplomacy. He is thrilled to bring his experience, honed through countless hours of research, negotiation, and public speaking, to the executive board, eager to inspire others to find their own voice within the global community.
Mohamad Hezeini
Mohamad Hezeini is a junior at AMG and a member of the executive board for AMSI MUN. He is excited to watch the upcoming debates and see how participants engage in heated discussions. His passion for Model United Nations has grown since middle school, where he developed essential skills in research, diplomacy, and negotiation. As he looks forward to AMSI MUN, Mohamad is eager to support his peers and witness their growth in tackling global issues. His role on the executive board allows him to contribute to the success of the event while continuing to inspire others to pursue their interests in international relations.
Tala Al Khder
Tala Alkhder is a junior at AlMawakeb Garhoud, and her journey with Model United Nations (MUN) began in 6th grade at a Junior MUN conference, which sparked her passion for the activity. Through engaging in debates and collaborating with fellow delegates, she quickly realized that MUN was more than just an extracurricular but a journey she was eager to continue. Since then, Tala has become increasingly involved in conferences, debates, and research, demonstrating her deep commitment and enthusiasm for MUN. She is honored to bring her passion, energy, and dedication to the executive board and looks forward to the exciting debates and thorough research that will take place.
Tia Koulaylat
A junior at AlMawakeb AlBarsha, Tia Koulaylat is thrilled to step into her role as a Junior Executive Board member at AMSI, a milestone that marks her incredible journey of growth. From once being an eager participant, absorbing every debate and discussion, to now holding a leadership position, she can hardly believe how far she has come. The excitement of witnessing passionate debates, seeing delegates engage in thought-provoking discussions, and contributing to the very platform that once inspired her fills her with anticipation. Tia looks forward to embracing every challenge, every debate, and every moment, eager to make this AMSI experience truly unforgettable.
Yassin Fergany
Yassin Fergany is a junior at Al Mawakeb Al Barsha. His start with MUN came when he joined the club in Grade 9, and he has taken part in multiple conferences where he received multiple Best Delegate awards. He is eager to be a part of the Junior Executive Board for AMSIMUN 2025 to create an engaging and dynamic experience for all delegates in the 8th edition of AMSIMUN. Yassin devotes his efforts toward debate and diplomacy because he wishes to establish meaningful exchanges that drive delegates toward meaningful solutions.
Ahmad Amiri
Ahmad is a junior at Al Mawakeb School Al Barsha, and his passion for debating and Model UN started when he joined his school’s YMUN club back in 8th grade, since then he has attended 8 conferences where his passion grew through each conference he attended. Now, as a junior executive board member he is eager to help create an engaging and impactful experience for all participants.
Haya Alsharif
Last year, Haya Alsharif joined MUN and has truly enjoyed collaborating with others to find solutions to real-world issues. The experience has provided the opportunity to learn more about global challenges and consider the pivotal role of diplomacy in our society. Haya is excited to be part of the executive board this year and looks forward to contributing to this year’s conference.
Nai Moussa
Nai Moussa is a junior at Al Mawakeb Al Khawaneej. The first conference she attended was AMSIMUN as a freshman, and ever since then, MUN has played a major role in shaping both her academic and personal growth. At first, MUN seemed to be completely outside of her comfort zone, as it was something she didn’t think she’d be interested in. But to her surprise, it was quite the opposite! MUN sparked her love for research and helped her develop important skills, such as public speaking and diplomacy, which she still uses to this day. She hopes that you all get to experience the same excitement, growth, and fun during AMSIMUN25, just as she did!
