European Union (EU) Chairs:

Taya Tkhaha

Taya Thkaha, a junior at Al Mawakeb Barsha, has been involved in Model United Nations since 9th grade and has developed a deep passion for the club. She enjoys not only socializing at conferences but also researching and debating, as it has taught her a great deal about countries and politics. The feeling of working hard and winning an award is unmatched, and she still vividly remembers the first time she won receiving the Best Delegate award. The unexpected victory brought her an overwhelming sense of joy, making all her hard work feel worthwhile. She is eagerly looking forward to chairing AMSIMUN’25 and hopes that everyone in her committee shares her love for MUN.

Kabir Ahmed

Kabir's journey to MUN starts back in grade 8. As a curious little boy ready to explore the world for its complexities. Embracing an opportunity for growth and change in personal character, MUN ignited a passion for debating for the once shy kid, into now a confident speaker. Kabir honed his skills in research, public speaking, and most importantly collaboration. With an innate love for debate and politics, Kabir believes, "In the art of debating and the complexity of politics, we find not only the expression of ideas but the catalyst for change itself." Kabir as a chair aims to foster an environment of inclusiveness and fruitful discussions all leading to practical solutions. Kabir views MUN not just as an extracurricular, but a stepping stone to making a meaningful impact on the global stage.
