MUN has also allowed her to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, broadening her perspectives and opportunities. Looking ahead, Farah hopes to inspire her delegates just as she was inspired at her first MUN conference and looks forward to making this year's AMSIMUN a truly memorable one.
Mariam Ghanoum
Mariam Ghannoum is currently a Senior at Al Mawakeb Garhoud and has been a member of the Model United Nations (MUN) since the seventh grade. Having once been in the same position as this year’s delegates, she knows firsthand how every chair, every committee, and every conference can leave an impact in ways one could never imagine. MUN has shaped her into the person she is today, and as she prepares to graduate, she hopes to leave the same lasting impact she experienced in past conferences on her delegates in the eighth edition of AMSIMUN. Passionate about diplomacy and debate, Mariam believes MUN fosters critical thinking, leadership, and a global perspective. Aspiring to study Law, she looks forward to applying the skills she has gained through MUN in her future career. She is excited to see this year’s delegates grow through this experience and hopes they come to love MUN as much as she has. Lastly, she can’t wait to witness the accomplishments of this committee in April and is certain it will be an unforgettable experience for all involved!
