NATO Chairs:
Zeinab Ramadan
Zeinab is a junior at Al Mawakeb with a passion for swimming, volleyball, and debate, among many other interests. Her Model United Nations journey has been filled with definite highs and unavoidable challenges, all of which have helped prepare her for the real world. She first started debating in seventh grade with YMUN, and through the guidance of distinguished heads and chairs, her love for debate only grew. She hopes to play an important role in shaping each delegate’s unique experience. She believes that MUN is not only a global opportunity to enhance research and debate skills but also a platform for learning about critical world issues and forging lifelong friendships. She is thrilled to be part of this year’s edition of AMSIMUN and assures all delegates that she and her co-chair will support them throughout the conference, whether it is their first step into Model UN or another piece in their MUN journey.
Maya Allouch
Having participated in Model UN since sixth grade, Maya, a junior at AMG, has always been a loud and curious kid, eager to discuss politics with her dad at every opportunity. It’s no surprise that she found her place in MUN—it’s practically made for her. Through AMSI MUN, Maya has built lasting friendships and embraced her social nature. From school MUNs to university conferences, she has discovered a deep passion for debate and collaboration, allowing her to thrive and grow as a confident speaker and leader. She hopes this AMSI MUN will be a memorable experience for everyone, filled with lifelong memories, meaningful debates, and plenty of fun!
